Is Deadly Premonition!  Due to some weird poll-related funk, the poll was open longer than was intended, and Vanquish tied with it at the last minute.  With Vanquish’s surprise popularity in mind, I’ll be doing something with that as well, though it won’t be in the first round of Pile of Shame.  I’ll figure out what to do in the near future.

I want to thank everyone for voting; there were far more votes for this than I had originally expected.

Also, the identity of the Mystery Game #1 won’t be revealed quite yet, as it will show up again the future.  Maybe it’ll show up next round…

I can be rather indecisive about what game I should play next, so I figure I should get all of you kind readers involved in picking what I should play next.  As a bonus, I’ll post regular entries as I go through the game.  We all win!

Here are the choices this round, in alphabetical order.  The actual poll is at the bottom of this post:

1. Deadly Premonition (Xbox 360): A game that virtually needs no introduction, I’ve owned it since it came out but haven’t taken the time to throw it in.

2. Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom (Xbox 360): A recent acquisition with a great Amazon sale, I haven’t really owned it long enough to play through.

3. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (Xbox 360): Another Amazon sale purchase, I was happy to find that this game isn’t really tied into the movie.  Or, at least, that’s what I’m telling myself.

4. Vanquish (Xbox 360): It has both Steve Blum and Gideon Emery, so I totally had to buy it.

5. Mystery game for a mystery console!  It’s like a grab bag, except it contains a game that I get to play and write about.  So, not like a grab bag at all, actually.
