Afro Samurai! Man, I bought that game forever ago and set it to the side. I'm going to try and play through it too now. Thanks for the motivation!

My big issue with popular RPG's and not getting them in the first month or so is generally one of spoilers. I did a black out of Mass Effect 2 and still had the opening and secret party member spoiled for me and I got that one day one. Between all the podcasts and news sites I interact with I know something would get spoiled somewhere. And when it comes to lesser known releases I like to buy them week 1 to support the developer, which for this podcast would be Atlus, XSeed or NIS.

Now if I didn't have the available income I do now and could only afford one $60 game every few months I'd have to learn patience in this arena.

Excellent episode gents; always a good listen. I do have to say though, I was surprised when there were a few instances of people saying "thank goodness game XYZ was pushed back." Wouldn't it be much better to have it release while you are otherwise occupied, and then pick them up later for a possibly discounted price?

Heh, I've actually been using Black Frost the whole time while getting myself slaughtered. The personas I have are all quite powerful. The problem lies in the rest of team. Teddie is the only one with a decent healing spell but otherwise at his level he's pretty worthless (he's still around 38 or 39 in my party) so I have to rely on my main character and Yukiko to do the healing. And with the main character also being the only character with Tarunda and Rakunda type spells at that level, he's pretty much the support character for the fight. Also having the main character susceptible to fear even with an anti-fear accessory as the boss has a dark attack that kills everyone inflicted with fear.

Anyway, I actually haven't played since before we recorded this but I'll get back to it eventually. I'm with you though, do as little grinding as possible!

Glad you enjoyed the show.
